Health Alert from your School Nurses
Alameda County has confirmed 5 cases of measles in 2015, and is investigating many other suspect cases. Four of these cases are associated with the Disneyland outbreak. As of 1/16/15, 41 cases of measles have been confirmed in California, 36 with similar exposure to Disneyland parks, and 5 others confirmed in other states and 1 in Mexico. Outbreaks such as this are a reminder that all children and adults should make sure that they are either immune or have been vaccinated against measles. For assistance in obtaining access to health care and vaccines, please contact your school site nurse.

TK/Kindergarten Registration information
If you have children entering TK/Kindergarten for the 2015-2016 school year, please look in your children's Friday folder for information regarding the Parent Information Night and the Registration Fair dates. Date, time and location are also on our school calendar (to the left). If you have any questions, please feel free to stop by the office.
Electronic Flyer Delivery Starts December 9
The paper flyers we have been sending home will now be sent electronically to your inbox. These eflyers can also be viewed by clicking on the Peachjar button that has been placed on each school’s website homepage. This “green” initiative will save our schools tons of paper and reduce copy costs by thousands of dollars. On top of that, it is our belief that this paperless delivery of school flyers will ensure important information gets delivered directly to you in a more efficient manner.
No action is required on your part. You will receive a welcome email from the “Peachjar” the service provider that will include a username and password. This is provided to give you the opportunity to manage your account and flyer delivery preferences. You do not need to login to receive or view eflyers.
To ensure smooth delivery of this communication, we suggest you add “email@example.com” to your email contacts. Note: add “firstname.lastname@example.org” to your contact list just as written; DO NOT change it to the name of your school @peachjar.com. When you receive your first eflyer, be sure to click “always display images.”
If you do not receive an email from Peachjar, it could mean your email address is not on file with your school, or there is an error with the address on file. Please see your school office to inquire.
This system is used exclusively for distribution of school-approved flyers. Your email address will not be shared or used for any other purpose.
